    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because learning about art of the past is so interesting. You learn so much from art, what was worshiped, what was feared, social cues, habits. Learning where cultures got their origins or how they managed to build such huge infrastructures. It is truly wonderful and inspires you to want to travel to see these great places. Not only do they inspire you to want to travel they offer programs to study abroad and see these places.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the lessons, I learned about so many different places. I got to find my own artifact that I found the most interesting and teach the class about.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Students in this course that are usually bored with History courses should try hard to be interested because it truly helps you learn history lessons when you see the art.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Even if you aren't a huge art fan, getting to see the brilliant pieces and learn about the history behind them is fascinating. Learning about the different symbolic meanings behind different aspects and seeing how art evolved over time is very interesting, and this course did so in a way that almost didn't feel like I was just in another boring college course.

    Course highlights:

From Prehistoric times to the Middle Ages, this course looked at several different art pieces, methods, styles, genres, artists, and more. I learned about different forms of symbolism that were hidden in each work of art, and got to see how art evolved over the years.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Just read the materials, take notes, and pay attention. It's not too much information to take in, but you can't take shortcuts. Put in the time, and you'll gain much from the course.
