Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Intro to Psych is overall an interesting course for anyone with a curiosity for why people act the way they do, and may answer a lot of questions you personally have about people in your life. Demalik is the best professor to have at OCC for this course- he's truly passionate about what he does and brings his best self to the classroom every day. He also has a great sense of humor.

    Course highlights:

I gained knowledge about how children, adults, and mature adults psychologically develop, as well as how to write an essay in APA format.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Before I took this course, I wish I knew that Demalik is a lot more personable than he appears to be, and that goes for a lot of professors. Don't EVER be afraid to ask questions- you'd much rather be the most annoying person in the room who is well-informed than the most confused person who paid so much money only to fail. This class requires a LOT of studying to remember everything, but the tests aren't hard- they're right out of the book.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Lavender is very knowledgeable and helpful. The course is also very interesting!

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about the mind and what makes people do the things they do. My favorite part of this course was learning the psychology behind dreams!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take plenty of notes and definitely put time aside for studying! There is a lot of information but it is all very interesting and can benefit you in your day to day life.
