    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

very insightful class, learn a lot of useful information that is applied in everyday life. The professors are all very nice and take extra time after class and during work hours to help with any questions or concerns. The lab course for chem courses are so much fun too!

    Course highlights:

I enjoyed the lab more than anything! I found that having the lecture course then lab right after helped me a lot. I was able to apply what I was being taught and do it in labs and hands on. Im a very hands on learner therefore, I remember things more when actually doing it in lab.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take good notes, be organized with your note taking. the lecture, the professors explain things fast and efficient. need to pay attention and be awake. Reading the course material prior to class helps a lot too, I wish I did this more frequent.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This was a very good introductory course to chemistry. Chemistry is not an educational subject that highly interests me. I took this course to fill my lab science requirement for my degree. Chemistry is a class I took in high school and I thought I might as well take it in college too. This is a subject where you have to do a lot of work on your own. Teachers can't force you to understand chemistry. You have to work hard and study a lot to retain the information provided to you.

    Course highlights:

Through taking this course I gained valuable life experience. First, I learned to always work hard. Anything worth doing is worth doing right and the same goes for chemistry. Like I said, it's a class that requires you to work. Second, I learned that preparation is key when taking a college class. My chemistry course wasn't one where I could "wing it". Long hours of studying went into the class.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are considering taking a chemistry course, know that it won't be a piece of cake. You cannot place blame on another student or the professor for your lackluster grades. You must take responsibility for your preparation (or lack of) and for the actions you take. Welcome to adult life.
