Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I love this course! I am currently an accounting major, and this course encouraged me to add economics as a minor. It is very interesting how economics can relate to so many aspects of the way we live our lives.

    Course highlights:

Some of the highlights in my macroeconomics course were monetary policy, fiscal policy, poverty, the federal reserve, the market structures of American capitalism, world trade and how commercial banks create money. I learned many important facts about the federal reserve and how they can manipulate our lives using interest rates and the money supply. Learning about poverty levels and going into depth about supply and demand, also set me on a different perception on the world.

    Advice for students:

The internet was my best friend during this course. It helped me a great deal to see updated statistics such as current poverty levels, or trade tariffs. The internet also offered assistance on examples of the things we learned in class, making very easy to understand the material. Make sure you understand the supply curve well, it will help you a lot.
