    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is challenging so it is not boring, and you learn so much. We read the whole book, cover to cover. I feel prepared for graduate school.

    Course highlights:

Weekly quizzes were challenging, however, studying every week made the information more manageable and helped me to remember more, and learn more. I learned about every body system, genetics, heredity, bones, muscles, nutrition, energy production, and more. Reading the book along with her lectures solidifies the material. I feel like I learned so much in a short amount of time!

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the book, every word, seriously. Study a bit everyday, so that the information stays with you, and so you really learn it. Pay attention in class, and stay focused. She will ask you lost of questions, and if you are not paying attention its embarrassing. Go to every class, it helps your attendance. Use mastering A&P to help with confusing concepts, and to take the multiple choice quizzes for practice. Use her power points as a guide, but focus on the book material. Attend 20 tutoring sessions, to have two of your grades dropped and replaced with 100's.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would not recommend this class solely based on the professor, as I felt that she did a poor job of effectively teaching the concepts in each chapter the whole semester.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the lab experiments that we did, including the dissections. Because it was so hands-on, it helped me understand each body system more thoroughly and helped me prepare for the exams.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise going to as many tutoring sessions as possible and going to see the professor during office hours if you have any questions because it is easy to fall behind in this class if you do not understand something.
