    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Professor Shannon is one of the best teachers at Ramapo. She is extremely caring of her students and teaches the class in a way that genuinely helps the students. Although the books she chooses are boring, she makes them interesting through her fun personality.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course is that she teaches students to take their grades into their own hands. She gives you a list of everything you need to hand in, in order to rack up the points necessary to recieve an A in the course. Do not leave all these assignments until the last minute.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not take the assignment list lightly. It may seem like easy, quick assignments at first, but you start to stress during the last few weeks of the course while attempting to cross everything off the list.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Wilson has increased my critical thinking and writing tremendously. He brings the outside into classroom, culturally, and gives everyone a chance to speak their opinions.

    Course highlights:

This course has reduced my wordiness in my writing and increased my vocabulary. Also, I learned how to annotate a reading.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready for in class discussions and to write.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend her. She very engaged with her students. She tries to pick your brain and thought presses apart. She's a tough grader and doesn't let her opinions of students affect her grading.

    Course highlights:

Doing group activities helped me be more comfortable in front of people. There was some public speaking which helped me come out of my shell a little more.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to the reading and writing center!
