Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

World Sustainability is the cornerstone of an environmental studies education. It will introduce you to the interdisciplinary nature of the relationship between social, economic, and environmental issues. These difficult problems require comprehensive and difficult solutions. World Sustainability will give you the foundation to creating real, positive change in the world.

    Course highlights:

I have learned to recognize relationships that I previously did not consider. Environmental, economic, and social injustices are more integrated than many would expect. I have learned to take the strategies from this course to educate my campus community in becoming more sustainable.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep a level head. You will be exposed to information that may make you angry, frustrated, and powerless. Remember that individuals cannot solve the problems alone. It only happens when we stand together by the millions. This first starts with becoming educated and aware. Keep an open mind, try to see things in a way that you have never tried to before.
