    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because this professor is always showing interest and providing new methods to allow her students to relax and feel comfortable for class preparation. She tries to eliminate all distractions and really get students in the mood. Rather than just lecture for an entire class session, she also does engaging activities to promote student participation, but she understands how people vary in personalities and how some are more timid than others, so she doesn't make class participation as something that is graded for the class. Overall, it's a great course, and the professor provides various links for memorization and preparation for exams.

    Course highlights:

I'd say the highlights of the course were when we reached more commonly addressed topics such as sexuality, stereotypes, and bias. Those caught my eye because we took these exams online which allowed us to see if we were subconsciously bias towards any groups of individuals or phrases. I remember taking it and trying to be as neutral with my answers as possible, but the purpose of the IA test and how it's done clearly showed I had a slight preference for one group over the other which astounded me because I tried to be neutral. That experience and the conversation I had with my professor afterwards really stuck out to me. In general though, I learned quite a bit as a strong intro to psychology course and felt like I had retained a decent amount of knowledge.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to check out the study sheets she provides and uploads on the website. Although you don't have to write down her notes, sometimes it's good to make sure to have a notebook and pen in hand to write down specific topics she clarifies. Also, don't be afraid to ask her for help if you're struggling, because she will go above and beyond to assist with anything she possibly can.

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it really helped me understand how our minds work and why we do the things we do.

    Course highlights:

I learned that not everyone thinks or acts the same and there are many factors that go into that such as your environment and genetics.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study a lot the course goes very into detail but if you put enough time into studying then it will be easy.
