Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because other than it being required, she is a great professor. She is a bit of a tough grader but definitely knows what she's talking about. She always has you read the most interesting articles and books on the criminal justice system. She keeps everyone engaged all the time.

    Course highlights:

I learned to get a better understanding of the reading and how to analyze things thoroughly. I learned a lot about the criminal justice system I wasn't aware of and it is definitely a major issue going on in today's world.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take it! Although she is tough she is very excellent. She also breaks down articles for you to get a better understanding and she is always there for her students.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The class goes at a really good pace and there are lots of interesting readings involved. There is a good amount of writing but there is also a good amount of time to get it done, lots of one on one advice and the topics aren't difficult.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about ethos, pathos, and logos. I learned how to analyze essays for these things and how they are used to sway an audience a certain way. It's super useful when writing and essay.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep up with the reading, bring printed copies of everything to class, use highlighters and make notes of everything you think is important. The readings may be slow sometimes but going over them in class is pretty fun and if you didn't understand it going in you will by the end of class.
