    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course gave me a really great general overview of genetics and the professor makes the class easy to understand.

    Course highlights:

You basically get a full-on genetics 101 course. You cover all the grounds, the professor is entertaining, there is never any homework, one project, and the professor will ALWAYS clarify something you do not understand and will keep clarifying until you do understand.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

All you have to do is show up (you miss an hour and a half of information and explanation if you miss a class), have a will to learn, and TAKE NOTES.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I learned so many interesting things in this class. There is literally never any homework, and the workload in the class is super easy. Yavellow is a wonderful professor, and I didn't find myself bored ever. He is a very unique human for sure, but he is absolutely wonderful and so sweet. This is a great class to take even if you're not planning to be a bio major!

    Course highlights:

I learn a lot about why we have the traits and diseases that we do. In this class, you will have to analyze a lot of scenarios. He wants to make sure you know the baseline of genetics and how it plays a role not only in our physique and health, but how it plays into ethical and moral issues as well.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you're taking notes while he's talking, as he will literally tell you what to write most of the time. Don't doze off, because everything you're learning is important. Really study your notes word for word and ask him if you need something clarified, he will gladly do it over. Make sure when you get your quizzes back to correct whatever you got wrong as they will literally be the same questions on the midterm and final.
