Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The basic understanding of not only Macro but Microeconomics is a crucial part of understanding business decisions. The ability to spot micro economic trends within a particular market or company is imperative to not only the short run success of company but the long run. These trends are used to make decisions regarding the companies future and success.

    Course highlights:

Dr. Miller is very thorough and has a plethora of knowledge to offer outside the textbook. He uses many fun examples that make learning the material much easier and more memorable. After completing both macroeconomics and microeconomics, I have developed a better understanding of how and why companies view certain aspects of the economy as an opportunity to grow or withdrawal and protect assets.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The book is not essential to success in this course, but participation and attendance in class is necessary. The examples he uses in class will appear on the exams, as well as some specific material not covered in the textbook.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course with Dove is very insightful. He helps students understand economics and is willing to work with them. The course itself helps to understand how economies work and What there is to understand about the market.

    Course highlights:

The most important line we learned in this course was "incentives matter." This quote was said about every lecture. Understanding that having an incentive can change a persons judgement on something is very important to note when taking this course.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

When taking Microeconomics I would definitely study ahead. Make sure you read the chapter before attending the next class. When doing homework, work on it early that way if you have any concerns or troubles you can take it to your professor.
