    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Very simple class, really easy teacher. Very straight forward, just do your part as the student and it should go well.

    Course highlights:

The teacher gave clear instructions, and provided the class with more than enough many assignments to help boost our knowledge in the subject. I learned a lot about simple marketing, such as how to create a marketing mix or the four P's of marketing.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to class! There are simple vocab quizzes and easy pop quizzes given, but you have to be there in order to know when.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

For any business major in general, knowing the fundamental principles of marketing is imperative to success. Dr. Thompson is not only a fantastic teacher, but truly passionate about the subject and his students. His style of teaching is far from dull, he presents a "hands on" approach when he brings products to class and demonstrates how they have applied different factors of marketing.

    Course highlights:

His overall demeanor in front of the class is always energetic, very rarely is there a lull in class participation. Perhaps the most memorable day in that class was when he brought in examples of "as seen on tv" products and compared the commercials claim of how the product works, to a live demonstration.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Attendance is imperative to success in his class, although the exams are a heavy portion of the grade missing the weekly quizzes in his class will result in an ending grade that does not reflect your true input into the curriculum.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The principles of Marketing class taught by professor is both very informative and interesting. I always wanted to go to class. The professor makes everything feel relevant by connecting subjects discussed in class to real life examples. He would bring in funny, or interesting marketing ploys implemented by various companies. It was always a pleasure to attend his class.

    Course highlights:

I learned all the most important principles that go into marketing. I learned some of the strategies that works best when implementing a marketing ploy. I also saw and learned from examples that did not go so well.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't leave class early without telling him before. He sees it as disrespectful. He is a very fair instructor though, and he is always willing to give you some extra help if you need it.
