Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Leadership 1100 is a great course to take. It helps you open up to people and learn the importance of being a good leader. Everybody is a leader to someone or something. We have people watching us and learning from us daily.

    Course highlights:

I really enjoyed our big meeting we would have. Every student that was in the LDR 1100 class would all come together in one room to listen to very important people speak. Our Chancellor here at Troy is Jack Hawkins Jr., and he came in one day to speak to us about how to always strive to be a great leader.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always be prepared to talk in front of people.Being a leader you have to know how to communicate with others.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This has been my favorite class so far at Troy.

    Course highlights:

I loved the group projects because everyone got to show their creative side. I learned to speak up for myself, and that I should not be afraid to speak in front of a crowd.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Have fun with the course, but take it seriously as well. The professor is so easy to talk to, so do not hesitate to ask her questions.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Leadership was my absolute favorite course. It gave me a lot of skills that I had never thought I would need in life.

    Course highlights:

My teacher was very lively, which aided in me actually paying attention in class and enjoying it. I learned that not all leaders are the people in the front. A leader is anyone who has character, competency, and confidence to lead his/her followers toward a common goal.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

It's great! You have fun while learning, which is rare.
