    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course is nice because the professor is willing to help and very responsive. However, since its online class, you need to learn everything mostly by yourself ( it is hard especially for the course like finance that you take for the first time) Also, the book taught us definitions and formulas, but didn't explain where is it used.

    Course highlights:

The class is online and finance is pretty challenging taking online. The courses basically taught us how to estimate the value of assets and how the financial system works. Mostly we do various calculations and read on how financial market works. We learned about the CAPM and the basics of portfolio theory. We learned how investment banks make money and some of the terms used in the field. Overall, the course is helpful not only for business majors but for anyone to help them in the future with taxes, investments, and savings.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the readings on time and preferably read additional readings to better understand the subject since the book itself doesn't have many details and all the information needed for an introduction to the field. The professor doesn't require you to read the whole chapters but I think it's better to read to understand well how everything works. Also, practice problems a lot because the exams consist mostly of the problems and it will be helpful for you to understand the concepts and how they work.
