Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

College Composition II is a very intense writing course that may be sometimes hard to do well in. My learning experience with Professor Shapiro has made a huge impact on my academic career as a whole. I was a very terrible writer until I took this course since she made it better to understand the core values however she was very hard on us. The course was three days per week for 8 weeks this summer.

    Course highlights:

Professor Shapiro taught me how to revise my papers properly, the five core values in CCII, also how to be organized. She is very great teacher who care fore her students. Also, I was able to learn how to protest and propose a solution to an argument in the form of an essay, business letter, and an Instagram account. This CCII class was very helpful and useful to apply to my future courses. The Professor is very awesome. College Composition I was helpful in preparing me for this course.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Within this course it is very easy to fall behind if you do not stay on top of all your assignments. My advice is to utilize a weekly agenda for all assignments, and pay close attention the course syllabus. Also, focus on applying each of the core values to each assignments, if you need additional help get a tutor and go to the campus writing center.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course took an interesting approach to writing by dealing with literatures dealing with them future, so it was clear to see how writing affects societies view on the world.

    Course highlights:

Though it was a Composition course, the course took a look at other forms of literature like videos, propaganda, etc. showing that essays and persuasive arguments can be just as effective in non-essay styled mediums.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely manage your time. With any essay, it takes time to conduct research, create a thesis, body paragraphs, and revise. Having other classes can distract you frosty is work if you let it, so nap out times to study one subject over the other.
