Pretty easy, overall.
Great experience! I honestly though the class was going to be extremely challenging since accounting requires you to memorize so many things and all of the accounts presented affect each other in different ways that you had to remember. Professor McGrath made the class an absolute breeze. He has Powerpoints set up for the whole class and he is always honest in saying that the quizzes come directly from the powerpoint slides. Not to mention he has a lot of real world accounting experience from being the CFO to many huge corporations. Really wish I could take him for every business class.
I honestly gained a lot of accounting knowledge. Also learned that accounting is not as hard as it seems to be if you look at everything in front of you and simply think "what is the first thing I do." Professor McGrath also loves finance so I found that he always incorporated a little bit of it with the accounting in his lectures.

Advice for students:
Definitely use the Powerpoints given by him, those are the number one tool if you want to do really well in his class. Also, as much as you don't really NEED the book, it's better to just get it and read over the sections he tells you to read so you could have a more thorough understanding of the chapter material. Other than that, I would just stay to listen to him while he's lecturing; he breaks everything down in such an easy way for everyone and is extremely thorough. Don't be afraid to ask questions either, Professor McGrath is the kind of Professor that will gladly go over the same topic over and over until all of his students understand.
