    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Professor is great. He really knows what he is talking about and is always willing to help when needed.

    Course highlights:

I learned that my study habits were lack luster so I had a few great study sessions that really helped me get caught up on the material.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay on top of any homework or class work that you are given. Study sessions with others is very helpful for you and others.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This is a required course for certain science majors. I highly recommend taking Subash as you always know what to expect. If you pay attention in class, take good notes, and study for the exam then you will do fine. This is not a class where you can sit back and expect an easy A. Frankly, if you do not have to take this class do not do it at all. However, a lot of us do have to take it and having Subash in your corner makes all the difference.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot of reactions. I also learned the power of a great teacher.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to take thorough notes. Color coding your reactions helps you to understand them when you look over them outside of class. You need to study a lot for the exams, but understand they are completely doable with appropriate preparation.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend it because it's a requirement for many professions and majors. Dr. Furyk in particular really cares about his students doing well and is available for 3 hour study sessions (which I highly recommend attending) every week to help his students. It's a tough class regardless, but I've benefited greatly by having him as a professor.

    Course highlights:

Nomenclature, stereo-chemistry, acids/bases, functional groups, SN1/SN2, E1/E2 reactions, and much much more...

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Study HARD! Do your homework. Attend Dr. Furyk's study sessions.
