    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would not recommend this course to individuals coming to college with basic chemistry lab understanding -- however, that being said, I would suggest this course to anyone seeking further chemical knowledge, regardless of major. The course is relaxedly lab-based, with several short lab reports expected throughout the course. The lab course is much, much more informative and exciting than the CH 115 lecture-based co-requisite.

    Course highlights:

The course is very hands-on. Students learn common chemistry lab machines and practices, including gas chromatography, precipitation, and gellification, to name a few.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you go to class. It is impossible to pass without doing the projects, themselves, as it is a lab class. This becomes extremely apparent come the midterm and final exams -- if you haven't been in the room riveting your attention to the TA and your lab partners for the whole time, you won't do as well as expected.
