    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Always remember to have a device to answer clicker questions, as she is a proponent of in-class participation. Do not skip class if you could not do the pre recitation work, as she would not mark you off if you email her about your difficulties.

    Course highlights:

I learned that by following her notes and practice problems, her samples are often exam questions down the road.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Come into class having already read the chapter ahead of the lecture and actually be in class instead of skipping and reading the notes after the fact.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is tough but it sets the foundation or so many important concepts that become relevant to many majors later on. It also helps develop great studying techniques.

    Course highlights:

I gained a lot about my own personal studying methods from this course. A lot of the chemistry concepts follow through into chem II and become important, but s does how you handle the coursework.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely set more time aside for this class than you think and review the previous materials fairly often, because they will be important later on.
