    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Personally, as an English student, I am interested in learning how to write children's literature. This course was based more on how to teach children's literature. I think it would be a better course for an education major. It was an extremely tedious course.

    Course highlights:

I really learned the fundamentals of children's literature. There was A LOT of information in this course, and I enjoyed learning some of the history and the basic aspects of a book.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't get too bogged down by the reading. Skimming is fine sometimes. Know the answers to the essay questions and the self-test questions.
