Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Terrific course which takes a truly unique approach to addressing global issues, while many courses focus on book work, this course takes the novel approach of utilizing a first person perspective of a culture.

    Course highlights:

I learned a great deal about the plights of various cultures, either from lack of governance or due to lack of resources. I loved the blog postings we made to discuss a day in the lives of our assigned persona, it really brought home the realities of the cultures we studied.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure that you are capable of citing your sources well and that you take the time to really look at the issues you are going to discuss. Often times students or the professor will question your stance on a issue that will require you to provide an informed response.
