I would recommend this course because it's the perfect companion to MUS-220. It also serves as a continuation of that course if you took it right before this one like I did.
The highlights of this course were the discussions. When you have the right group the discussions are lively and challenge you to really think. I'd say I learned more about how music and music composition was influential in many major parts of history.

I would say keep track of the course calendar. If you start to fall behind ask for an extension because the last thing you want (especially if it's in your major) is have to give this course another shot after you have put so much effort into it.
