Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor was very easy to work with, really helping the course materials to sink in. He allowed for trial and error and this made the class much more enjoyable.

    Course highlights:

I learned to enjoy physics, where I had previously hated it.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Study the end of chapter questions for the midterm and the final. Learn the correct mathematical applications for the equations. Correctly label ALL calculations in the lab work.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Unfortunately they way this university does their online course work, there are no lectures or guides on what to study. They just give you chapters to read and assignments to do. This made doing the midterm and final really difficult when they threw random equations at you. Also, the curriculum is made by the university, so there is no "professor" who runs the class. There is only a "mentor" whom can help but does not know what is on the final or midterm because that is created by the university. Although it was easy to complete the discussions, writing assignments and the labs at home, there was not a lot of direction and thank goodness for course hero because without it I would have failed the class. Because of course hero, I was able to cross check my work with those whom had uploaded their hw and had taken the course previously.

    Course highlights:

I needed to take physics for a prerequisite for the graduate programs I was applying for. I was very happy to have this option because without it, I would not have been able to complete physics as a prerequisite and would not be eligible for graduate school. I loved being able to complete the assignments on my own time and the freedom to do the work wherever/whenever I wanted. I felt that the actual assignments in the class were straight forward and not difficult. Doing the lab experiments at home was actually fun but difficult to do many of them with only one person when many of the experiments where designed for two people to complete together. Navigating the course was very easy.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not take this course if you want to get an A. The coursework itself is very reasonable, however, the midterm and final were impossible to prepare for because the assignments did not prepare you and there is no outline of what needs to be learned from each of the chapters covered.
