    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class. The professor is very knowledgeable and helpful to the students.

    Course highlights:

I have gained a great deal of knowledge from this course. It has been several years since I have taken a Chemistry Class. I recommend brushing up on some basis prior to starting the course.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to study and present your information in a classical Chemistry based presentation. Oh, don't forget your significant digits !

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I am horrible at chemistry. My grades prove it, but this does not speak for the patience and guidance of the mentor, Linda Hanson. She is simply the best for a tough subject.

    Course highlights:

Chemistry is an interesting subject, but difficult for me to grasp. Mrs. H, the mentor, was so helpful and patient with me, and I can only assume every other student in my predicament. I submitted my work when I could, and she was so encouraging. It made a drowning student such as myself that much more confident and keep trucking forward.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I had to file an extension for this course. The material simply does not click for me as quickly as the course calendar shows. To that end, get really comfortable in looking for answers outside of the required text such as YouTube. That website is a lifesaver. Never shy away from seeking help from the mentor either.
