    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it will help a student to understand the human mind very well. Also, it will give the opportunity to better a person in ways that many would think is impossible.

    Course highlights:

My highlights were learning that the brain is made up of many lobes, that have their own meaning and reasons to being apart of the brain. I also learned that the leading a positive life and looking at life in a good perspective can always result in being a great person with successful communication skills in a very role of life.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise students to always pay attention, take notes, listen to what the instructor says and read the material given. And also to study really hard, because the questions on exams are very tricky to understand. last but not least, have fun learning and always be happy.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this class, because she provides you with all of the resources you need to do well in this class, which is so fundamental in psychology. Things that I learned in that class I was learning in the higher level courses as well, and gave me a really good foundation for doing well in future psychology classes at CNM.

    Course highlights:

Highlights of the course included the powerpoint presentations that she made, containing so much information, it was a great study tool. Also, the teacher was very kind, an was very approachable with any questions that anyone had. We learned about different types of learning, parts of the brain and what they do, different types of conditioning, and several different mental illnesses, as well as the many branches of psychology, and the science behind dreaming. We also got cookies on the last day, which was pretty awesome.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would definitely take advantage of the powerpoint slides that she uploads, and use them heavily while studying. Also, use the study guide that she gives before tests, because she goes by them pretty closely in the exams. Also, there's no homework!
