Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Ruth is very funny and makes the class very lively with her sporadic teaching style.

    Course highlights:

I learned that in different cultures, marriage isn't always about love, but instead about unions between families and alliances, and that sometimes they even marry two seemingly random dead people for the sake of a family alliance.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

when taking this course you really need to watch the videos she provides for responses and in her textbook. Not only are they insightful but they are also really funny.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because the teacher is great, the field and subject is interesting, the content you get in the class is amazing, and you don't need to use a book!

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course for me was studying and determining how race is pretty much fictional. In this course we were shown pictures of people and told to distinguish their "race". Many of them had so many different genes in them.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this class, all you have to do is pay attention to the readings, take notes, and study for exams. The exams include a review-- pre-test.
