Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Rizza's grading system uses what he calls a "ghost grade" where your first draft sent in his graded and edited by him but you are given two weeks to finalize your paper after his corrections.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were the times I successfully corrected my graded paper and was given a higher score.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

All you need is a little determination to complete this course with an A. Dr. Rizza works everything to help you as much as possible in every way he can while growing you as a writer.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to any new coming freshman that would like to gain a better understanding on writing. When I first entered the course, my professor asked each of us students to stand, introduce ourselves and say how much we love English. If I was asked now how much I love English I would not be lying when I say that this class is what encouraged me to take my writing seriously and gain a passion for it along the way.

    Course highlights:

This course taught me that being bias in writing can easily bore your reader. I learned new tactics on having a good thesis and also practicing not being repetitive in my works.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Showing up to class and engaging in each lecture will definitely set a student up for success with this course. Visiting a writing center for helpful tips on your essay will make it easier for not only you but your professor as well. When it comes time to review your essay with the professor it will be easier to communicate and see what spots might need revising
