This class was tough.
I would recommend this course because it is a great intro course to the fundamentals of accounting. It was interesting, engaging and applicable to my job working in retail.
The professor was amazing. He was interesting, funny and was able to keep the entire class engaged and interested. The professor was pro student and did what he could to ensure the class did well. Going into the class I knew nothing about accounting or how it was applicable to business. Throughout the class I found that I was able to take what I was learning in the class about inventory, profit, net income and loss and more and apply it to my job as a sales associate in retail.

Advice for students:
Staying current is probably the best advice I could give to a student considering this course. Everything that you learn later in the course uses concepts that you learn at the beginning of the course. Making sure that you stay current with the material in the long run so that you do not fall behind or become overwhelmed. Another piece of advice is to not be afraid to ask for help. I was always getting help from my professor during office hours and my mom at home who is an accountant. Without the help of those around me I probably would not have done as well as I did.
