This class was tough.
The course is a critical and in-depth look at the enviromental, social, and political issues surrounding nuclear technologies. The class is structured to explore many aspects of the nuclear industry as means of bringing awareness to ourselves and our communities. The professors welcomes community experts and creative, interdisciplinary approaches to the issues at hand. The class also goes on field trips to sites such at Trinity, Los Alamos Laboratories, and the Nuclear Museum.
I am so glad I took this course. I learned so much but one thing I did learn was that this is a global issue that affects everyone. Definitely go on all the field trips, they are great!
