    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    The course is a critical and in-depth look at the enviromental, social, and political issues surrounding nuclear technologies. The class is structured to explore many aspects of the nuclear industry as means of bringing awareness to ourselves and our communities. The professors welcomes community experts and creative, interdisciplinary approaches to the issues at hand. The class also goes on field trips to sites such at Trinity, Los Alamos Laboratories, and the Nuclear Museum.

    Course highlights:

    I am so glad I took this course. I learned so much but one thing I did learn was that this is a global issue that affects everyone. Definitely go on all the field trips, they are great!

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Be ready to work hard and read a lot but don't get discouraged! All the readings and assignments only help you to understand the complexities of the nuclear industry.
