    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The Western World is a history class that deals with the Europe and Asia continents starting from early Mesopotamia until the American Civil War. Overall it is a rather fast paced class with large amounts of reading and note taking. It does give extensive details of events throughout history.

    Course highlights:

Throughout the course I learned about the different viewpoints of events throughout history from European and Asian cultures as well as extended information about different historical figures throughout time such as Alexander the Great, Aristotle, Mark Antony, and Plato.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Take a lot of notes about every reading you are assigned. You will occasionally be given pop quizzes that can either help or harm your grade.
