Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course helped me develop into a free thinking adult from a child who had been told what to think. Through out our lives we are influenced by everyone around us, from idols on the media to our teachers to our friends and ultimately our parents. It can be conflicting as to what you are supposed to believe. This class taught me how to decide which choices are my own and which i have been influenced into believing.

    Course highlights:

I learned about social injustices of the races and genders. I also learned about teaching techniques that could help students who fail in a traditional teaching setting succeed. The class offers lots of opportunity to be able to choose topics for discussion and papers. You might think you are learning about Women's Rights and while you are learning new information on it, Dr. Marquez is ultimately teaching you how to debate, cite, and speak like a well informed adult.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

GO TO CLASS. He gives a very free schedule as far as turning in work, what I mean to say is that theres no due dates but you know how many papers are due before the term is over. Work on these right away. DO NOT PROCRASTINATE.
