Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Chen is a really great teacher and explains the content really well. I definitely recommend taking her class for Experimental Methods.

    Course highlights:

The course is really well integrated with the textbook so the two combined you really understand the material thoroughly.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely a lot of outside group work, so choose your group at the beginning carefully. You will work with them a lot during the week and outside of class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course prepares the psychology student for their future in conducting quantitative and/or qualitative research in psychology. The course is rather accelerated so Dr. Chen doesn't spend a whole lot of time dwelling in depth into the topics, which is rather unfortunate.

    Course highlights:

The lab for the class is the diamond here. It will allow students to prepare their own experiment through conducting literature reviews all the way to running the experiment itself.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Overprepare when it comes to your experiment final. Leave as few loose ends as possible.
