Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would absolutely recommend this course. It provides a good pace and also labs which allow you to practice and ask questions regarding the material. The professor is also amazing and is truly there for the students. The course is also structured to allow ample time for questions to be addressed.

    Course highlights:

In this course I learned about the importance of paying attention to details and following rules. Throughout this course about half of it was pertaining to math rules. If you didn't at least conceptually know the math rules it was hard to complete the work. Also I learned the importance of small details because in math one small change can potentially change the whole meaning of the answer or fall under things that are not mathematically possible.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If I could give any tips I would say its vital that you keep on top of the homework assignments and quizzes. The tests that are given for these course are composed of similar problems given in homework and quizzes. In addition it is important that you ask questions when you do not understand something. In math, things build on each other and some concepts you will not be able to understand unless you were able to comprehend the previous concepts. Lastly, if you have further questions go to your professors office hours! Many of them are more than willing to help students and want to help you in your journey to a successful experience and grade in their course.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I took a similar course in high school and yet I learned so much more in this class. Even when I didn't understand the work I always got the help I needed and I wasn't made to feel like I was ridiculous for asking for help like I was in my high school class.

    Course highlights:

I learned everything I needed to know about Trig and Pre-Calc. I would have been really prepared had I taken Calculus.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready and be willing to work.
