    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course because apart from Tania Balderas being a brilliant instructor with such expanded knowledge, the topics of our assignments were always not only highly difficult, but were very rhetorical topics about controversies that opened one’s mind.

    Course highlights:

In this course, I learned to do reverse outlines to thoroughly comprehend complex articles, as well as to organize ideas to construct solid essays. I gained the ability to distinguish reliable and non-reliable sources when conducting research, and how to properly organize a reference page using APA Format.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed on this course, I would advise anyone considering to take this course to ask questions when there is a lack of understanding. I would also advice to thoroughly revise every detail of the assignment before turning it in at least by 3 people. Also to consider that quality of an essay or assignment is much more valuable than quantity, or length.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

even though it is a basic college course my instructor really broke down fundamentals in writing and I really had to challenge myself to pass the final exit essay.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to structure literary pieces and effectively move the audience in that desired direction.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I think this course set me up for success to the following writing classes i will have to take to finish my degree. I would strongly advise this class before getting too deep in literary classes, this class taught me what professors will expect and how to best please them with your writing to pass.
