Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was one of my favorite courses required by the College of Business. I recommend this course to anyone because laws affect almost every aspect of our daily lives although we do not always consciously think about the individuals laws that provide a framework for our modern society to function. I now view being knowledgeable about commons laws as a vital skill in order to make informed decisions and protect yourself by understanding the consequences that might arise.

    Course highlights:

Although this course focuses mainly on business law, many things can be applied to different categories of law. For example, understanding the way that a trial works will always be similar involving different types of cases. Understanding the way that statues are written, how bills pass, and the way that laws are amended are also things that are always useful to know no matter what major a student may have.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice for any student considering this course is to not allow yourself to get behind on work because it can be extremely difficult to catch up. This course can be very interesting and beneficial if you devote the time you need to understand the material. Otherwise, this class can easily become a challenging course that you will always dislike.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

She is not the easiest teacher, but she makes a class that most students dread interesting.

    Course highlights:

The class is very interesting and as long as you show up to class you will do well. During exams you take it first individually and then as a group. Those scores are added together to get your score out of 100. So you can usually boost your test scores during the group exam.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I got away without buying the book because she uploads chapter summaries to Canvas and I just studied those and my class notes. So if you're comfortable doing that and risking the B it'll save you a couple hundred dollars.
