Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This intro to Astronomy course was a lot of fun. The class was online, so it was easy to work at my own pace, the tools used were very creative, and the teacher put a lot of thought into his assignments.

    Course highlights:

The Moon Project showed me how important careful accurate measurements are in astronomy. Over several weeks we independently charted the moon through its phases, rise and set times. At the end we correlated this data and calculated our margins of error.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure not to get behind. Since a large part of the course is naked eye observations of the night sky, if you get behind and then have a run of bad weather you may not be able to get the observations you need.
