    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Professor Dunleavy is very thorough in her lectures. She is constantly asking her students if they understand the concepts she is teaching on that day. She is also very entertaining, and you're never bored in her class. The homework she assigns are very helpful for studying for the exams.

    Course highlights:

In this course I learned a lot about hydrocarbons, and how they effect our world. This course really focused on how to apply what you learned and how they effect the world around you. For example, we learned about hydrogen bonds and why water sticks together.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to study. This class was very informative and interesting, but if you don't study outside of the class for at least an hour to thirty minutes a day then it will be very difficult to pass the exams. Especially since the exams are weighted heavily. The professor is very fun and assigns a lot of homework, but the homework is very closely associated to the exams
