    Course Overview:

    This course gives students who are beginning to study business an overview of the principal components of business and how we use it in our everyday lives.

    Course highlights:

    I learned a lot about how business operates in a global environment and how all of the components of business come together.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Pay attention! Do not be afraid to pitch in your opinions and discuss with other classmates. You get back what you put into it, but it is an extremely interesting class.

    BUSA 111 is a great way to learn about business on a global scale, and the information learned in that class can be useful in many different careers, even outside of business.

    Course highlights:

    The lectures were interesting, the tests were fair, and the information was useful.

    Take thorough notes, because sometimes points are added in lecture that aren't on the slides.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

    It gives a wider view of what truly goes on in the business world for those who may not be very educated about it. Quite a few guest speakers of different areas of expertise to give insightful information about business.

    Course highlights:

    Offers good attitude and supplemental information to what is taught from the book. Very helpful for understanding key concepts.

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

    Read the book! it is a very helpful resource due to the flipped classroom setting. if you read the book you are pretty much guaranteed success in the class.
