    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I wouldn't recommend this class if you are going into kinesiology even though it's a requirement only because the same that your learning in bio 101 is what you would learn in anatomy it's like taking the course all over again but your not even though that's good because you should be able to pass anatomy with flying colors

    Course highlights:

I learned a ton of diffrent things from the diffrent types of blood types to why diffrent traits of sickle cell is a benefit and not a harm one of the highlights of the class is the diffrent labs and how very hands on it is

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to lab and ask questions because the professor is not going to baby you to do your work you have to do that on your own

    | Would recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it has a general overview of most biological terms and sections faced towards more advanced classes. this class helps to prep you the beginnings of your future classes. it gives you a more and better understanding than what was learned in previous high schools. as well as for any biology majors this could help them choose a career path an what they may be more interested in.

    Course highlights:

the highlights of this course were cells and organisms. i learned a cell's structure, function, and classifications. i learned about sexual reproduction and asexual. we learned about life on earth, biological molecules, the 5 kingdoms and much more. like stated above we learned a wide spread basic overview of biology terms and definitions.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say to take notes, without notes and paying close attentions you will get lost very easily. always study in some way for the test because they have the biggest impact on your grade. and to always come on time and prepared. finally make sure to sit up more towards the front so you can be sure your getting all the information.

    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This professor cares about her students. A lot of students I've heard from think she's too hard or mean, but she isn't. She does everything she can to help her students; all they have to do is come to her. She was very willing to help me and answer any questions I had. If she didn't know the answer to something, she was very willing to look it up. She's there for her students.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about the basics of Biology. I learned about how cells reproduce in your body. I learned about the digestive system in a very hands-on way--we dissected a pig. She provided lectures online to look over before class, and they explained a lot of the things you needed to know. She was really good because she challenged me to learn all that I could. I now know the basics of Biology.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the lectures that she puts online before coming to class. I watched some girls behind me struggle with the coursework, but as soon as they started to read the lectures before class, they got the material. She does everything she can to make your life easier, you just have to put in the effort. I promise you it will be worth it to put in that extra effort. She can tell when you're trying. Use the study guides, and read the lectures (and take notes on said lectures) BEFORE CLASS. I did it the night before, and I was more prepared for class and tests.
