    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is tough, but professor Miele breaks down the information into easily handled chunks. She provides anecdotes, visual aids and and physical demonstrations whenever possible and is always available willing to explain something a different way if you dont get it the first time around.

    Course highlights:

I really enjoyed the lab part of this course. To read about it or listen to the lecture is one thing, but to fully understand the material, the hands on application we used in lab made it all come together. My favorite topic was dissecting the cows eye.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

DO NOT GET BEHIND as this course is very difficult to catch up on when you do. Pay attention in class. The quizzes arent difficult, but they are always on the previous lectures material, so it would be smart to review your notes between class (or copy them into a separate notebook) and pay attention in lecture. Also, when studying for exams, look at the lecture objectives in the syllabus and answer the questions. They will tell you exactly what to expect on the exam.
