    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend General Chemistry because it teaches you how different substances are conglomerated into chemical compounds that we use in our everyday life such as Lysol, Pine-Sol, Pine Glo, and Clorox.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were learning conversion factors such as converting grams to moles, moles to grams, and moles to molecules. Also, I learned the International System of Units which is a main component in Chemistry.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Four things I would advise students considering this course. First, get a full understanding of the fundamentals and the basic constituents of chemistry. Second, learn the periodic table so you will know which elements are metals, non-metals, and ,metalloids. Third, find as much information about the professors teaching the course from students who are currently or who have already taken the course in their class. Finally, get a good scientific calculator.
