    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend that everyone looks into this course when attending Alfred State College. You get to learn things from other people's point of views. Going into the class, I wasn't really interested in Philosophy. It's like after the very first class, I didn't want to stop learning. I would take this class again if I had the choice to. As time went on and classes flew by, I started to pick up a lot of concepts and understanding. This course keeps you thinking inside and outside of the classroom.

    Course highlights:

My favorite part of the course is the reflection papers. Every week we had to come to class with a 1-2 page reflection on what we learned that week or what was most important to us. This was a good time to show the professor how creative your mind was. I learned a lot about famous philosophers that had really interesting views on certain things.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

When taking this philosophy course, you should do every reading that the professor assigns to you. I say this to say that the professor gives a lot of pop quizzes on the previous reading assignments. If you do the readings every time, I guarantee that you will pass the course with flying colors.
