Pretty easy, overall.
The class engages with the ability to analyze film form and to be able to relate the topic to outside experiences. I would heavily recommend this class to a person who is interested in the arts.
I learned a lot about the history of cinema that I otherwise would not have known. For instance, I always knew Charlie Chaplin was hilarious, but really did you know how funny the guy actually is. Also, I noticed that there were parts of the world that do a significantly better job at making a film than America.

Advice for students:
I would say watch the movies and try to do the outside reading. Although there was a lot of reading, it was worth it to push through it. Also, I made a lot of close friends in that class so be willing to be vulnerable and open to experiences.
