Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

You can learn so much about yourself and the human mind in general with just a general background in psychology. Relates a lot to biology and sociology and overall very interesting.

    Course highlights:

As a psych major I feel like I gained a better knowledge in to the subject that I want to study/devote a career to.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Review the lecture slides after class a little bit each day and build on to what you already know to make studying for each exam an overall easier process.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I took psychology 111 because the subject of psych was interesting to me. Morrissey is very good at explaining topics at an intro level for students who may not necessarily need to take this course for their major. The slides and lectures are engaging and clear.

    Course highlights:

I took psychology in high school so taking this intro course was a nice refresher, but i also learned several new ideas. In class, the professor is very interested in the topic and is able to engage students through his lecture and the use of short clips and examples.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

This class, apart from being somewhat interesting, is essentially a lot of memorization. You need to have the ability to associate words, names, and experiments together. The tests are not hard if you go to class and read through your notes. He posts vocal and video recordings of all the lectures online, as well as student's notes, flashcards, and study guides which are very helpful.
