    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It was definitely a difficult course. It's a prerequisite for a lot of management courses, so you really can't avoid it. Maybe try taking a stats course at your community college if you know this isn't your strongest subject.

    Course highlights:

I honestly struggled with the entire course. Make sure you do well on all of the Quizzes since they are much easier than the exams.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The Textbook is your best friend. Do all of the homework assignments even though they aren't graded. They're only assigned because the are beneficial. Also go to office hours as much as you can. He will help you out if he knows you sees that you're making a good effort.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Carlip is not the best professor, so you end up teaching yourself the whole course basically. The exams are really difficult.

    Course highlights:

No highlights. I learned stats because I taught it to myself.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take a different stats course (psych stats/bio stats/etc.)

    | Would not recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

He makes the exams way more difficult than it needs to be.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the normal curve.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Go to tutoring. The UTS tutors teach the material better than Carlip.
