Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If you love plays (not musicals) this is definitely the class for you to take.

    Course highlights:

The professor was hilarious. Every single lecture we had he would stand on the students desks and jump through each row.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you read all of the books. Maybe even read them twice to make sure you know that you definitely understood what was happening. The textbook material is also extremely important for the midterm and final exam

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Professor Oakes is very passionate and his eccentric behavior makes class engaging and enjoyable. The plays he chooses for us to read are not extremely difficult and you can easily get an 80 on every quiz simply by reading .

    Course highlights:

Theater never interested me very much, but that changed from this class. This is the best class I've ever taken. It is not difficult if you read and go to class because he gives all of the information during lecture.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take this class! It satisfies the A gen-ed, is not very difficult, and is full of laughs and enjoyment. The professor is amazing and very fun.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would absolutely recommend this class to anyone interested in learning the principles of theater. This class will take place 3 days a week for about an hour and half each class, but that won't be a problem when you have such a great and energetic professor. This class was a roller coaster of excitement and anyone can definitely get into it.

    Course highlights:

One of the highlights of this class were the plays each student is assigned to read every week. Each week brought a new and exciting play. You'd have plays that were weird, to thrilling, to action packed, to philosophical. It was always something new in that class and each and every time the professor found a way for it to be educational and funny.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend students pay close attention to each class and show up to every lesson. Lessons to Prof. Oakes are your way of actually attempting to actually pass midterms and finals. Take notes on every little detail because it will show up some way or another.
