    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is extremely hard, unless you have a background of AP Chem. I took this course without much of a background and worked every day on it. With all of this effort, I still got around a C. The questions are made to trick you even if you understand the material.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about studying techniques and dealing with failure. I think it changed me as a student for the better.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

If you're taking this with a good background of chemistry, then you will have to still work hard but it's definitely doable. If not, all I can say is think about this strongly. If you really want to do it make sure to not take any other too hard classes.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

You should take it with Turnpenny; as a student, it genuinely is better to have a professor who is loud and clear with the material. It's something you cannot get out of having a science-related major. One can probably do well by going to all the office hours of the professor(s), living in the TA help room, and going to tutoring. (However, I did not).

    Course highlights:

(The mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell!). Electron configurations.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Tutoring, office hours, TA help room hours. Do it! Do it! Chemistry takes OVER your life!
