    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Overall this class is pretty easy, the material is also interesting and applicable to everyday life. Rick is a very nice, casual professor and is almost always available for office hours, although I doubt you'd need to attend.

    Course highlights:

The subject of this course is evolution through a modern day lens, in other words how you can apply evolutionary concepts to practically all aspects of life. Rick never fails to make the course interesting and the material easy to grasp.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Even though the lecture slides are posted online after class, I would still recommend going to class because sometimes the slides can be confusing without Rick's explanations. There is also a group poster project that accounts for a good amount of your grade so I'd suggest either taking the course with friends or making them early on because nothing is worse than getting stuck with group members who don't equally contribute.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course actually changes the way you see the world around you. Although the workload is a bit more than your typical "easy" online class, it is definitely worth it.

    Course highlights:

It explains how animals act the way they are, why certain human traits are still in society even though it gives them the advantage, explanations of strange religions, etc.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Focus on the daily material he gives you to read, it is important for the weekly quizzes. Ask questions if you have any right away.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course teaches a lot of topics through an evolutionary perspective and makes you think differently and critically about those topics.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to analyze physical and cultural elements through the evolutionary perspective, so I learned a new way of thinking.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention during lectures and discussions and visit the professor during office hours.
