Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is a required course for all freshman with an engineering major. The course contains two group projects. One involves an Arduino Uno circuit board and the other involves reverse engineering a common appliance. Both projects are relatively easy if you follow instructions and work hard.

    Course highlights:

The main thing I learned this course is how to work with a team. The success you have in this course is largely based on how good your team is. If your team works well together and does their assignments, you will succeed. If your team does not work well together or complete their assignments, you will not succeed.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be aware of all deadlines. Make sure you complete each required part of every project which is outlined in the rubrics. Don't miss deadlines. It is better to finish projects ahead of time so you have time to proofread and look them over. Believe in yourself.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it. It's an easy intro class and you need it to be an engineer anyways.

    Course highlights:

Highlights were the reverse engineering project and getting to rebuild the device in solid edge. seeing the final product was awesome

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Focus on matlab and solid edge. You will need both these tools later on and its easier to build off of what you know than the relearn.
