    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I was actually in CIS 190 which is a pre-requisite for CIS 151. CIS 190 is giving students a great intro into programming by using Snap! which is an easy to learn programming site that allows you to make your own programs. The professor has taught us a number of ways to writing our own programs and having it successfully carry out the instructions we gave. You can definitely learn a sense of problem solving as you do have to test out your programs and fix any errors.

    Course highlights:

Highlights of this course were importing sound files into our programs. For example, we had to write a program that will bark or meow when the user enters the specific animal name. If we enter cat, the program should activate the sound that will meow and for dog vise versa. If the user entered an animal not named above, the program would make a different sound, indicating that it wasn't a dog or a cat.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do all of the assignments and sit somewhere where you aren't easily distracted.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Great professor, but if you seek an A, go somewhere else. I got a 5 on AP Bio test, but I couldn't get higher than an 88 in his class.

    Course highlights:

Nobody received an A this semester, so good luck.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Tests are straightforward though. He was disappointed more of his low scoring students didn't drop...

    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course is basically teaching you the basics of comouters.

    Course highlights:

She would teach you about excel and creating web pages.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Just focus in her class because certain times she call you out of the blue.
